Aromatherapy Massage
Combines selective essential oils with the therapeutic art of massage to meet the needs of the individual. Upon completion of the consultation an individual blend will be created specifically for the treatment.
Holistic Aroma Facial
Very relaxing facial using essential oils in natural base products to help deeply cleanse, exfoliate, tone & hydrate the skin. After a soothing massage of the chest, neck, shoulders, face & scalp a seaweed peel off face mask will be applied to help cleanse, tone, firm, hydrate & reduce fine lines. The skin glows afterwards.
Holistic/Swedish Massage
A soothing or stimulating massage incorporating classic Swedish massage moves such as effleurage & percussion to meet the needs of the individual.
Hopi Ear Candles
A traditional therapy originating from the ‘Hopi Indian Tribe’ in Arizona. A lit Hopi candle is placed into the outer ear and the vapour is drawn into the auditory canal and is believed to soften any impurities. The candle has a chimney like effect drawing away the vapour and any impurities from within the ear and is followed by gentle massage of the ear, throat and face. A very gentle & relaxing treatment that may alleviate ear wax problems & is ideal before or after flying or driving.
Hydrotherm Massage
A unique therapy combining the use of warm water filled pads to help relax and soothe tired or aching muscles. The difference with this treatment is that you lie on your back for the whole duration therefore not causing any disturbance— no need to wake you up to turn you over!!! An excellent treatment for those suffering with back & shoulder aches.
Seated Back Massage
A wonderful soothing or stimulating massage of the back, neck, shoulders, scalp & face. It is performed whilst the client is seated & fully clothed & for the duration from 15-60 mins thus making it ideal as a pick me up during a lunch break.
Reflexology
A soothing yet stimulating treatment that has been practised for thousands of years. It is believed that the body is mapped within the feet in what is known as zones and that reflex points relate to specific organs. Therefore by applying direct pressure to these zones and reflexes can help to restore balance & harmony within the mind & body.
Reiki (Usui)
Pronounced ‘Ray-Key’ means universal life force or life energy. Reiki originates from Japan and is a very gentle but powerful treatment. It has NO known contraindications therefore making it ideal for everyone and anyone. It can also be used with animals and plants! And for distance healing!
Tender Touch Massage
A very gentle and soothing treatment integrating the therapeutic affects of essential oils and very light touch massage. This treatment can be taught to a carer or to a child to enable them to communicate without verbal words how much the recipient is valued.
Indian Head Massage
This wonderful therapy originates from India and is a gentle yet stimulating massage of the upper back & shoulders, arms, neck, scalp & face. It also incorporates energy/chakra balancing and is performed with the client seated and can be done over clothes or with a small amount of oil chosen to meet the needs of the individual.
Sports Massage
An invigorating massage ideal to warm and prepare the muscles before an event or soothing to ease tired aching muscles after the event. Used regularly can help maintain homeostasis and prevent injury.
Thermal Stone Massage
A combination of hot & cold Bassalt (volcanic rock) or cold Jade & Marble stones are used throughout the treatment to help stimulate metabolism, circulation, elimination of waste & induce deep relaxation in order to redress homeostasis within the body. A blissful treatment.
